WHO
CAN SUBMIT?
Anyone.
People
from all artistic backgrounds including but not exclusive to design,
photography, 3D Rendering, writing (song lyrics, jokes, script dialogue),
comic books, painting, sketches, illustrations, mixed media, etc.
are welcome.
The project was originally opened up to those in the GTA, but as
word spread we
have been receiving submissions internationally.
WHAT ARE THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS?
+ Must be in digital format
+ We are accepting .eps, .pdf, .tif,
and hi-res jpgs
+ Resolution must be set at 300 dpi
+ Size must not exceed 9” x
9”
+ Also, include a text file that
states:
Your
name
Your
email address
A
brief description of your piece (max. 1 paragraph)
A
brief description of yourself (max. 100 words)
A
photograph of yourself (optional)

WHEN
IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS?
The deadline for submissions is August 31st 2004.
HOW
DO I SUBMIT?
1. Please e-mail your name, and email address, as well as a brief
(no more then one or two sentences) description of your artistic
background (i.e. medium used, education, profession/ hobby, etc.)
to info@sexbookproject.com This informs us of your interest in the
project, and your intent to submit.
2. You will receive confirmation, that your email was received and
that you have been added to the sex book project contributors. You
will now receive monthly updates, status reports and media high
lights regarding the book.
3. Submissions can be sent by two methods:

AM I GUARANTEED TO HAVE MY PIECE PUBLISHED?
Unfortunately
no. Due to guidelines and restrictions, the Sex Book Project reserves
the right not to publish submissions if the content is found to
be offensive, if it misleads or deceives the public, or if the editors
determine that the submission is inconsistent with their understanding
of the Sex Book Projects goals, objectives or values.
WHEN
WILL THE BOOK BE PUBLISHED / RELEASED?
The
book is set to go to press at the end of September, and the book
will be released shortly after. Specific dates will be announced
as more information becomes available.
WHEN WHO HAS OWNERSHIP OF WORK SUBMITTED?
The artist will continue to have ownership of his or her work. However,
by submitting your work to the sex book project, the artist grants
permission for his or her work to be reproduced in the book only.
Any other reproduction of the artists work, such as promotional
materials or advertising for the book will be dealt with on a situation
by situation basis. In such events the artist will be contacted
and specific permission will be requested.
