The Sex Book Project, is artists coming together to raise awareness about Sex, through compositions that speak out as a reaction to and/or expression of and/or commentary on one or more of the following areas of the theme... Sex.

+ Marriage & Birth
+ Eroticism & Fetish
+ Lust & Desire
+ Abstinence & Celibacy

The received submissions will be published in a coffee table style book featuring
beautiful art, evocative subject matter, and thought-provoking commentary.

WHAT MAKES THIS BOOK DIFFERENT?

+ It provides an opportunity to do be proactive, and creative, and support ACT (AIDS Committee of Toronto The book will reflect a variety views of sex ( and related themes) in this day and age, acting as a time capsule.

+ The written content of the book offers both male and female commentary, and rather then stating facts or opinions, it suggests thoughts and ideas to be considered, allowing the reader to make thoughts and ideas to be considered, allowing the reader to make his or her own conclusions.

+ Allowance of series pieces. There is no limit to the amount of submissions you can enter, and series work or submissions that work together are welcome.

+ This book does not present opinions or biases, instead the book provokes thought, and provides the reader with subject matter they may not have previously considered, education they may not already have, and emotions they may not have been aware of.

+ As the saying goes… “Knowledge is power”, so by opening up the subject of sex, and through art, discussing the positive and negative aspects, we can move towards a healthier, and more aware mind set. This means everything from safe sex, to loving the skin your in, to embracing your sexuality, to finding true intimacy with your partner.
